Ignite Dating is a UK-based elite matchmaking agency that pairs you with a dedicated matchmaker who manages every step of your dating journey.

Personality profiling and psychometric matching

At the heart of our approach is a rigorous personality profiling process. Every client completes an in-depth consultation with one of our dating consultants to explore their values, lifestyle, relationship history and long-term goals. We use established psychometric frameworks, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and FIRO, to build a detailed picture of who you are and who you are compatible with.​We do not use algorithms. Your personal matchmaker combines the insights gained from your interview with professional intuition, years of experience, and access to our exclusive private network to identify potential matches who are right for you.

Every introduction is hand-selected, personally vetted, and approved by you before it proceeds. 

  • Every client’s journey to finding love is different. Some meet their partner within their first introduction; others take several months. Whatever your personal journey, your matchmaker works continuously on your behalf, focusing on quality over speed to find you the right match, not the fastest one.

  • No. Ignite Dating works with clients throughout the UK, including London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol and many other cities and regions, as well as internationally in Ireland, the USA (New York), Germany and Switzerland. Your matchmaker will search for suitable candidates in your preferred locations and can accommodate clients who travel frequently with multi locational matches.

  • Yes, your information is kept completely private. Your name, photographs, and personal details are never publicly listed or shared without your explicit consent. You will not appear in any searchable database. All client data is handled in strict accordance with UK GDPR. Discretion is a core part of the Ignite Dating service.

  • When choosing a matchmaker in London, you need to look for verifiable credentials, genuine client testimonials and a transparent process. Trained matchmakers, such as those at Ignite Dating, an agency who holds qualifications from the Matchmaking Institute and are MBTI and FIRO certified, bring a professional standard that sets them apart from other agencies. Trust your instincts during the consultation; a good agency will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and help you feel understood. 

  • Yes, if you prefer. Our dating consultants offer face to face consultations and our matchmakers offer ongoing support by video call or by phone, whichever is most convenient for you. We work with busy professionals and can accommodate flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends (higher tier service only), to fit your schedule and needs.
